Because most people don't refer to me with the full username. They just say Meta, Sera or call me by my real name.

Plus I don't see why you're using the full username in the first place, I don't see you or anyone else going around calling S. P. Gardebiter by his full name username.

That's one thing that annoys me about forums is calling people by their user names, it's so impersonal to me.
