The fact that it is now 120 seconds instead of 60.

Posting would slow to a crawl. It would suffocate the community.

I've only seen the warning twice, and it was always under 60 seconds for me.

which means you wouldn't have gotten it if it was like it was in the old days.
what really infuriates me is that their only response to this thread was to do the opposite of what the members wanted. It may be something to make sure our posts are sensible, but it doesn't freaking work. the community is the way it is. deal with it. all you're achieveing now is killing it slowly. eff off, admins.

and really? I think we're all capable of making a perfectly intelligent post in less then two minutes, thank you very much.

Not to mention the frequency of people slipping in a post before I can get mine done is probably going to double.

eh, you have to wait to minutes between each posts, not much of a problem for you, with 17 posts total but I and some other peoples post a whole lot more then you, and work on multiple posts at once, and this timer is a huge annoyance. read fast, write fast, think fast, type fast, and then you'll see what I mean.

>_>

Is there any possible way they can base this timer on rank/clusters of ranks?

so the more posts / posts per day you have, the less the timer is?
I guess...

OH GOD THAT WOULD BE AWFUL.

The highest it should be is 10 seconds. At most 15.

Spot Advertising.
This is not your personal recruit thread. (Hint.)

I say Timer stays.
Same Rules for everyone.
If you can't wait 60sec... your post isn't worth it.

I can wait 60 seconds. 120 is asking too much.

Was it raised just to piss us off? All it seems to be doing is that, and increasing the chances of people killing Captain Fabulous's jokes because someone posted before he could.

"This forum requires that you wait 9001 seconds between posts. Please try again in 8903 seconds."
What the hell?
That's 2 and-a-half HOURS!
