3 HP run

Has anyone ever done that, and succeeded?
I'm now trying to beat the Undead Core.
It took me a week to get past the Hidden Last Cave, and now this goddamn boss kept hitting me, or at least Misery's bats, that is. (The Muscle Doctor's bats are annoying, too)

Tons of people have. There's even a 3HP minimal items hell speedrun in like I don't know the time but lets' say 5 minuites. CS+ Hard Mode is basically an enforced 3HP run for most of the game.

Simple bosses like Curly and Omega are so annoying with their hard-to-dodge attacks.

Im attempting hard mode right now so far im at monster-x and its not curly your a human version of quote
makes sense when you think of it a robot installs capsules that allow him to take more damage but a human can only take 1 hit or 2 hits if you only take -2hp

Just a question. Have you tried looking around the forums a bit? There's plenty of people talking about 3 hp runs and even 1 hp runs. There are even some videos on them.

No.
It is Quote, as a human with blonde hair.
The easy mode Quote has a yellow outfit.
There is a separate Curly Brace mode, where you play as Curly.

3 hp lol i couldn't beat ballos with 55 hp and even used jenka's hp jar had to use cheat engine :V

for some reason I managed to beat ballos on normal cave story easily back then i wonder why i can't on + now.

 

Monster X took me forever to do on 3HP. I havent gotten past the core fight right after that. I hadn't gotten a booster, missile launcher or a machine gun, so the fight takes ages. I was playing on the Wiiware copy. It was pretty fun for me up to that point, but i was no longer enjoying it, so i moved onto something else.

 

Did you try using the blade? That's how I win on the core boss, but I haven't tried with 3 hp yet

I found + easier than the original probably something to do with kwotes post earlier everything moves faster that why I focused speed runs on +
