Try using a program called HyperCam if you can find it, it's a lot better for recording things like Cave Story than Fraps will be (I don't know why, It just is) It's what I used to do all my recording.

The final form would be the only form of Ballos that would be tough with this setup..so yeah...Good luck with that... If I were you I'd put my focus on the Butes shooting from Ballos and not actually looking where you're shooting Ballos. Like focus your attention on dodging arrows and shooting...

Sounds like "just be really skillful/lucky" is the only help I can think of =X The only other thing I could add would be jumping into the weak -1 HP spikes at the bottom if you feel pressured to get some invulnerability for a few seconds. I know there's a mod somewhere that lets you edit maps...

Well since Pixel himself said that he leaves everything that's unsaid in Cave Story to the player's imagination, there's really endless possibilities for what could've caused them to "wake up".

I shudder at the thought of it. It wouldn't be so bad till probably Monster X, and then the weakness of the Polar Star would begin to show...and the Core would defintally be a pain...and other stuff... If you really plan to go through with it I wish you luck.

Me likey. I was worried at first with the limited ammo but didn't bother me after I noticed it refills on the next stage. (though for bosses that could be a problem..maybe have a weak weapon with unlimited?) I like the stage by stage aspect of it, and I think it could be a lot of fun if it was...
