GMs EXEs start around 1MB, they get bigger as you add to them. I suppose that's true, but 98% of the people who would play it have Windows, seeing as CS was originally a Windows only game. Plus, as far as I'm aware, OpenGL isn't 100% Vista compatible, which I'm sad to say is the OS I got stuck...

Basic, as in some graphics, and a movement engine. ;) I'm got programming and music down, it's spriting I'd like help with, I'm kinda so-so at spriting, and even worse at animating, are you good at that? I started on a Quote sprite but it wasn't turning out so great. I'm sure given enough time...

I'm seriously considering doing it. I'd make it in Game Maker, which is the game dev tool I'm most familiar with. Before you protest, I am fairly experienced with it. I've had it for two years and I've made lots of games with it, including an MMORPG, I know what I'm getting into. If you want...

So I finally got the Good Ending, yay! But I was disappointed... I expected something more epic, to make me feel better about the fact that I've seen all there is to see in the game... So I'm glad I finally beat the game, but disappointed it's over, and in the ending... Did anyone else feel like...

The whole mod isn't about how Quote failed or anything, it's supposed to be what happened AFTER Quote left. It's about someone else picking up where Quote left off and finishing things once and for all, with a few twists here and there. :rolleyes:

Hm, it's been a while since I did it, so I can't properly tell you step-by-step how I did it. If I remember correctly, I read two tutorials, both of which had the same step by step process, and I followed them exactly. As soon as I did, the game loaded corrupted in Sue's Workshop... I pretty much understood all the stuff going on in the game, story wise I didn't really assume anything before playing the game. I had heard about it elsewhere, so I had an idea of how it worked, not completely, just the basic gist of it. What I didn't count on, was it being so much fun!... Or...

I kinda like Cave Story: Hero's End, since that IS the theme song for the bad ending.

"One Thousand Three Hundred and Thirty Seven", translate that into numbers, and it's 1337, or 'leet' in 'leetspeak', it's a joke. I made this with MS paint and windows movie maker, it's not a real ending. XD
