Ballos, the root of all evil. I thought I read somewhere that the cause of the destruction in the Egg Corridor was mainly chalked up to Ballos. Without the Core to keep his powers in check, it all was just let loose in an explosive way, wrecking places like the Egg Corridor and creating horrors...
