that's actually a bug in all versions of cave story, i've even tested it in CS3D. ...now that i think about it, i wonder if the glitch in this thread was caused by being caught by a press during invulnerability frames?

plant and hero's end are underrated imo, but of course i'm a sucker for the more well known tracks like moonsong and running hell

it's actually not their fault for once, the console update itself broke something (i tested it, the challenges worked fine pre-update & then crashed after updating). i would also assume they'd want to fix it, given it's the latest port & the one they advertise at the moment.

it's caused by the latest switch update breaking... something - afaik there's no workaround yet, but nicalis is aware and (i hope) trying to fix it
