Re: Cave Story+ It is more of premise. You have to ask for entrance and there isn't 100% chance (as far as I know) of selection. Open (public) anyone can just download it indiscriminately or by just filling a form. Public/private, w/e, want more cave story :p

Even without the opportunity to test it I'd still eagerly pay for it on release. In fact, I would probably buy a copy even if given a promo code, just because each money for pixel = +0.01% of Cave Story 2 :sue:

As it turns out, although it is a floating island, what they didn't say was that the island was floating only 20 meters or so off the ground. He landed in a high tree branch or something.

Re: Cave Story+ That's fine. The ending wasn't really worth the struggle anyway. I could only beat it through profile hexing, which is embarrassing to say, but some of us weren't born with fingers of pure awesome.

Re: Cave Story+ Knowing exactly how everything is supposed to work is the best way to know what can break it. Messing with sequences, getting to where you aren't supposed to at a certain time, etc. It is highly unlikely to run into a bug on a straight-faced play through with even some polish...

Though it is funny how you stand there while they are going through all that rather than start shooting like a maniac initially. Still, Misery would probably bolt lightning you dead right then and there in that case.

Although what was that in that one picture, where the "best" ending is pretty much "Copout ending FFUUUU" I think the normal ending is the most interesting.

Re: Cave Story - Redesign In king's house (if you go there first thing) Jack will come up and tell you about the reservoir, even though there is no jack present. Edit: Uhg, by the time I'm done, I think I will have missed every secret there is to miss. I am terrible at finding secrets.
