Moaning faces in final form Ballos' body?

Was there supposed to be a point to this? I mean, anyone who's gotten up to Ballos's fourth form has seen them. Were you wondering why they're there?

    Ballos antagonist or not?

Ballos is indeed a sympathetic and non-evil antagonist. But he's certainly an antagonist, as he opposes the protagonist, Quote.

Reason why The Doctor wanted Sue

It shall remain a mystery. :pignon: I mean, it just seemed the obvious answer, given that's what she ended up doing.

    How do you save state?

If you're concerned with speedrunning, which I'm generally not. Hmm, why does the walkthrough say that Ballos's last form is hard if you don't short-circuit it? It can be defeated fairly easily just by button-mashing Curly's Nemesis at it. :D

    The Doctor survives

The Demon Crown is a physical object, albeit one which comes back when destroyed, and it appeared to be temporarily destroyed when the Doctor was defeated by Quote. Hence why Misery could rebel against him in Black Space - he did not have the Demon Crown. As has been said, destroying the Core...

Reason why The Doctor wanted Sue

The reason why the Doctor wanted to kidnap Sue is pretty obvious - Sue posed a threat of revealing his actual plans to the Mimigas, who he wanted to deceive.

    Misery's on Quote's side.

At least, after the first two times he meets her. Third time: Instead of throwing Quote off the side of the island and guaranteeing his death, she throws him (and Curly, and a bunch of other robots) into the Labyrinth, so they can attempt to kill the Core. Fourth time: Misery, instead of doing...

Misery's true feelings towards the Island

She's a witch, and a fairly powerful one. Her magic probably keeps her young.

    How do you save state?

No, I considered hacking the game to save time. After all, it's not like a save point actually changes whether you can beat something or not. See my earlier comments about IWbtG. Joy and satisfaction? That'll come when I beat Ballos without short-circuiting the last form.

    How do you save state?

This is what I did, and it worked a treat. Thanks to everyone for your help, even the ones I didn't use. Well, there's the exploit between B2 and B3 that allows you to get back to max health there, and if you play cautiously through B3 you can usually get up to Ballos with 35+ health left...

    How do you save state?

Hence why I don't want to make it easier, just less time-consuming. Ah. Crud. But I don't want to do that. I want to beat Ballos properly. I just don't particularly want to drudge through Sacred Ground again every time I die.

    How do you save state?

Removing a save point does not make something harder, it merely increases the amount of deaths and vastly increases the amount of time required. For instance, if you can beat I Wanna Be The Guy on Medium, you can beat it on Impossible, your death count is just going to be several hundred to...

    How do you save state?

How, then, do I hack a save point into the Seal Chamber? Because spending 10 minutes or so getting up to Ballos every time I die feels like I'm being trolled.

    How do you save state?

I'm rather sick of Sacred Grounds and the fact that every time I lose to Ballos I have to beat the whole level again. I've heard there's a way to save state. How do you do it?
