Regardless of wether it was a forum or not it's cool to read through written LPs, it's a neat way for someone to talk about the game they're passionate about and I enjoy it as a way of reading how people feel about the games they're playing. That's not to say I think streaming is an awful medium...

Are you intentionally posting something out of context because I haven't heard of any controversy, though I'm admittedly avoiding everything surrounding the game to remain blind when I actually get to playing the game.

+1 on the range thing yeah, I once modifiede a weapon to make it's sole purpose to trigger a 'hit' at a range (on objects with 0 hp IIRC). Don't forget that you can also set wether weapons are able to break blocks.

Altering an arena rather than the boss itself can already bring a lot of changes yeah. Spots of water to slow you down, rougher terrain, offscreen enemies tossing projectiles, the little rolling guys...

Try not to fall in the pit of stat inflation either; Overly tanky enemies are unfun to deal with (Tedium does not equal fun difficulty) and making everything a one-hit death can be frustrating and takes the reward out of health capsules.

@DoubleThink Fair assessment, and while I don't truly see a big benefit to stuff like Likes or whatever and I think they can do a better job making older threads more accessible this already looks better than Reddit to me in the sense that threads are just threads and not a topic tree full of...
