No offense buddy, but there really is no plan to make one. Please, read the previous posts, it helps. And by that I mean it's a discussion about what one would need to make a prequel, so feel free to add your thoughts. Oh, and the language would most likely be C++, but that's just my guess...

In order to create new TSC commands, of which you'd need a hex editor to do so (unless I'm wrong, which is possible). And yes, it is difficult, especially if you've never dealt with a hex editor. Have you tried your hand at modding CS first? I'd highly recommend doing so before jumping into...

@ Strawberry Hah, no prob, but I can easily answer your question, assuming I heard it right. You edited it with CE and then SW, which corrupts the exe. Unfortunately, no matter what you do, you cannot interchange between the two. Edit: knew someone would post before me... Oh, and thanks...

Sorry to interrupt, but I have a few questions. Which means around 4 or 5. 1. How do I get the sprites to display properly? I am currently attempting to use both Maze and Guest sprite sets in the same map and I can only get one to display the proper sprites, depending on which I have first...

Currently it's Storm bat, Rail Gun, and Revolver, though I'm going to consider getting a handgun, simply becuase it's the lightest weapon and has the least effec on speed, which make s it perfect for chaser. What do you go by Noxid in S4?

Contra is notorously difficult, just to warn you. Prepare to die ALOT. Though, the game is really fun, just a tad cheap at times. Me, I'd go for CS or SPRPG (Super Mario RPG) or SM (Super Metroid). Just a suggestion, it's your choice, really.
