Yeah Cavern Tale is a really lame mod, though I'm glad that it inspired someone to (attempt to) make something better. Cavern Tale was my test of the CS modding waters as well, so the cycle continues understandably.

Open your mod and hit File>Save-all. This will set the exe to use .bmp files. It's a common issue. I should probably open a github ticket for prompting a save when it does that conversion.

Did you try borderless widescreen? By default I think the scaling in fullscreen is a bit weird whereas iirc clownacy specifally setup the borderless one to combat it.

Alternatively you can use my XML's pinned in #resources on the server (specifically the file "0_exe_properties"). I put all 3 lines there but backup your exe cause it's easy to accidently delete the invisible linefeed characters

It's a shame nobody is gonna play this because there are some great aspects of this short little mod. How about I do BLunko a favor and make a 38MB version for all to enjoy with basically zero audio quality loss? Here you go it's pretty much the exact same mod. It's just not 20mb .flac files.
