I try jumping over the pond onto the wall just before the pool, then look around if I do it right.

Well, obviously fur counts as facial hair. Jokes aside, in Cave Story there are no spotted Mimigas, so, biologically, they probably have only one color of their fur (on a Mimiga, not all Mimigas). That means dark facial hair on a Mimiga is ruled out. (though, you can always include spotted...

Have you checked the exact spawn location after you expanded the ceiling? Is it in the same place?

About that... the minimal volume in OrgMaker doesn't really allow anything quieter than what I already used in the tune intro. The "pseudo-reverb" tail on the arpeggios didn't even remotely sound like reverb, or anything good, really, I've already tried. I stuck with the cutted short ones...
