You do for titles. Thats why Resident Evil isn’t called Biohazard outside of Japan, due to BioHazard being to hard to trademark.

All I really know about is Credits Wii My best guess is that Cave Story Wii Ware started out as a almost exact copy of Cave Story (Free Ware), but then they decided to add stuff like the updated ost and graphics, challenges etc. Just a theory however

I was using Studio Pixel’s to imply the game, not the trade mark. I was trying to say that i’ve seen discussion around something called “Cave Story” which wasn’t the game. It may be a Biohazard Resident Evil Scenario. Anyway I apologize for any inconvenience.

My only guess is that NICALiS (or nicalis) deemed “Cave Story” to vague, since I my self have seen refer to a Cave Story that wasn’t Studio Pixel’s. That’s just my guess however.

oh it’s ad for sure, I know that for a fact. i was just more curios on what he’s saying about Cave Story since it’s the first time he has directly talked about it since 2016. Also I’m actually in a position at the moment where i can’t really use one lol, I should be able to in a couple of days...
