Ahhh.... well y'know it's pretty unoriginal, so mabye you would want to add some secrets/easter eggs/more story for the replay factor? I honestly don't mind replaying the original cave story but I can imagine others being bored with it fast. (Mabye you should revive Death Story! XD)

So it's the original game with slightly modified enemies, jumps, etc. (that was attempted and seems pretty boring) or an actual makeover of the game?

If Quote cloned himself, wouldn't you see the cloning happening?? But if there was cloning Quote should duplicate himself hundreds of times to create an ultimate army of Quotes, since there is no limit to how many times you can save.

Well it's a good thing Quote doesn't have much memory either :D

Whaaaaat?? C'mon Andwhy, use your imagination! How do the Save Points revolve around the story? Mabye they were once robots that got destroyed and someone built them into rotating floppy disks?!?

Well I really don't know how how this will turn out, but it did look like it was supposed to be like Nazi Zombies from the start. To be honest it seems like a better idea to keep. So... basically what cultr said.

If I had to guess, the most logical answer would mabye be time travel which is triggered by his death. So whenever you save you set a marker or such in the space-time continuum, or something like that.

Granted, in a few billion/trillion years when it'd be logical. I wish for the next users post to be in size 7 and in a very ugly font.

Basil probably evolved from some type of hedgehog. Y'know they both have spikes (I think?) and sonic gives me the impression all hedgehogs are fast.

Save points on the island. So we all know that we use the Save Points in Cave Story to save. But are the Mimiga, other robots, etc able to see (or use) the Save points?

There is indeed a story, this is when you collect all 30 hidden audio files. I guess it gives you some kind of backstory to why it all happened, I dunno.

Granted, the 3D remake was on the virtual boy :p I wish for death towards the next poster.

^^^ I like Andwhy's idea, but I prefer DT's layout (one big reason: I'd rather Cave Story have its own section than Pixel).

The graphics on the cutscenes are good. All graphics in that game beside the cutscenes are either ugly to look at or a really boring looking solid-grey. And yes I've played the game, there was not a single thing I liked about it, I'm not kidding!

Could none of you seriously detect the sarcasm?? I thought it was obvious, really >.> And the only current-gen sonic game with good graphics is Sonic Colors. Gameplay-wise, most classic sonic, Sonic 4, and (hopefully) Sonic generations.

Granted, it became free. But due to the many issues with NIS's and Nicalis's budgets, any hope for another Cave Story title is lost. And each copy comes with CANCER! I wish for nothing bad to occur or cancer.
