no, java is nearly impossible for graphics. Trust me ive tried. A good tool would be gamemaker or Multimedia Fusion (recently renamed clickteam fusion)

My theory is that Miakid is human, but the crown distorted him over time. I called this "The Gollum Effect" on another thread.

The reason for the graphical errors is I just copied them from screenshots. They are not final graphics. BTW, it is a prequel, I dont know why I said 2.

It shows the backstories of many characters. Some things in it may contradict the plot of Cave Story, but it ends up as a better story. I have attached the basic plot.

I am creating a prequel to Cave Story in MultiMedia Fusion 2. It will be ready for a beta test in one month or less. If you want to register, put it on the forums. I will give a download link to the people that register for closed beta. PS. The game is NOT very far in development yet.
