See, sometimes being bored is great, because you have the time and patience to do something like that. Some of my greatest feats have come from boredom, like that awful Twitter account.

I'm definitely glad that you are keeping busy, but I know exactly what you mean... I've been pulled away from the house so much that I haven't had the chance to work on anything that I'd wanted to lately.

On that note about your laptop, it's impressive how you keep working on your game and all that even without access to your own computer, as I read on the blog. Most people (myself included) would consider such a thing an excuse to "take a break" which usually leads to a long hiatus or cancellation. It's good form to keep going despite what else is going on like that.

yeah, well it already looks amazing, between you and volley's (if either/both really completely finish, which I do have confidence you both will) I guess there'll be a new standard set for mods thereafter. I have thought of trying my own but due to me being more of an "artistic minded" person who THINKS UP lots of cool stuff but less of a "programming genius" I don't know if I'd be able to implement my ideas well enough into something people'd wanna play. And then I've heard of people who put too much dialog into their mods, which I'm positive I'd be guilty of. I'm actually thinking of writing a story about what I was playing around with as a mod idea; for like a month I've been fiddling around with -- and actually started writing -- this whole post-good-ending Cave Story fanfic but I keep feeling like awkward trying to portray the actual characters from the game. But I do wanna write, I do wanna do something for the CS community to enjoy-so maybe I should just do my own story simply within the context of the game's universe.
I guess that's something really cool about you, your confidence to take core characters like Arthur and King from the game and map out their past and even how they developed to the state at which they're in in the game itself. It's really cool.

speaking of your blog, I just actually read a lot of it as opposed to the one time I just peeked at the little post about the cameras when that was new. Wow, man, adding so SO SO much new stuff beyond just Cave Story *and* doing the double res stuff on top of that... it's really very impressive. And then there's the fact that it's a story I'm actually interested in unlike most mods I've looked at (no offense to modmakers lol)...
