Time will tell if that ends up being successful and more thoroughly displacing legacy forums. Clearly, Discord has recognized the apparent un-focused nature of live chats and the benefits of more "forum-like" discussion format. It does feel weird that they're trying to combine that discussion format with the existing live chat model they have. Whether or not they're gonna be successful with that feature remains to be seen. I for one am still gonna stick to this place for my Cave Story discussion.
