• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

Especially not a fan of resources or such like downloads for stuff becomes locked behind them, it makes me feel forced to join a community to just grab a file.

I suppose thats the benefit of forums; you get to see upfront what you will be dealing with.
...And you probably won't be blindsided by a welcome bot/channel that draws everyone's attention to you.
