• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

Many of the mods on the site have custom characters. This is done by accessing the files used for the graphics for the game and editing them to your pleasure using various programs such as Paint. There are plenty of tutorials and such on the website, and I would be happy to link you to some if you are interested.

Yep! I clicked 'Quote Post' on the bottom of your post in the thread, copied the text that came up, and then cancelled the comment. Then I came to your profile and posted it here! You can do that with just about anything you type in normal comments. Just type things in normal comments, and then copy and cancel the comment.
Since I find it easier to type one out (since I cannot find one) here is a tutorial for changing character sprites-

First, I would make sure you have an image editing program (Paint is perfect).
Then, you should download an editor for Cave Story, found on the main website. I will tell you how to using Cave Editor, since I unfortunately do not use anything else.
Once you have downloaded and unzipped the folder for Cave Editor (CE), run the program. In it, find the file of the Cave Story game you wish to edit, and open the Doukutsu file.
After it's loaded, click Game Settings on the right. A dialog box will open. Near the bottom, there will be a box that says 'Remove &copy;Pixel requirement.' Check this box. Then immediately underneath it, change the 'Image File Extension' to something editable in your image editing software. I suggest PNG or BMP. After all of this, click OK.
Now is the fun part. Without closing the CE window, you can go into the folder with your Cave Story file in it, and open the data folder. Locate the 'mychar.(whatever file extension you used)' and open it in Paint. Edit it to your hearts desire, and save it.
Now open 'Game Settings' once more. Uncheck the 'Remove &copy;Pixel Requirements' box, and change the Image File Extension back to pbm. Click OK, and File>Save your game, and it should work!

I like it! It's a clever character. I'm very interested in what kind of person they are. I like your colour choice. One thing I might comment on, though, is maybe a little bit more shading? This is just personal preference, you do not need it, but it could be good to have a bit of variation of shades in your individual colours, and shading is a good way to do that.
