Cave Story Tribute Site Forums

Pretty well, thank you.

And you?
I was real-ly frustrated discovering I missed out on an opportunity by mere hours... (So frustrating to discover something RIGHT after its over!)

BUT! Seeing your reply brought me a grin of relief, just when I needed it <img src='<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':p' />
*deep breath, calming*

I think an alternative solution just came to me... it was right in front of me all along! ... But, should I? ...

Ah! Anyway, I was just wondering how you were doing. Was catching up on the forum the other day, and well, just wanted to say you're awesome <img src='<#EMO_DIR#>/grin2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
I'm glad you're doing pretty well. I hope your day is bright!
d00d, you like gave hints to a bunch of stuff and made me mad curious

i'll listen to details if you'll provide them
Still curious about what you have going on that you didn't go into details with if you wish to go into details about it with me.
! I'm sorry I teased you MetaSeraphim (do you like to be called Meta? Or Sera? Or do you prefer MetaSeraphim properly typed <img src='<#EMO_DIR#>/grin2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />) It's best to ask, because I remember when a certain professor gave me an unpleasant nickname instead of asking -_-...

Also, I think I finally properly setup notifications, so that if you message me on the profile feed, it'll notify me!

... Telling you what it actually was, will be VERY MUCH disappointing... rather than using your imagination... But, well... it did matter to me at the time, so I suppose one can respect that even silly things to another, could mean a lot to someone else.

The so-called "opportunity", was a sale. A sale on a game.

<span style='font-size: 8px;'>le-sigh</span>(I heard that!)

Being hard pressed for cash for entertainment purposes, the sale was the difference between splurging and holding back. You see, I got a new computer this year, and have been playing catch-up on some titles I had been eyeing for a long time. The Mass Effect series in particular.

While the series may have its flaws, I was enchanted by its colorful universe. It was literally alien, and a real eye-opener. Spending countless hours on Mass Effect 1 and 2, along with modding it to make it my own experience; I had JUST finished Mass Effect 2 at the time of that message.
I was dying to continue the series. So I checked online to see if I could find a good price on the conclusion... Ah.

That's when I saw it. 4 hours ago, it was 15$ for the deluxe version. Now it's back to 30$.

If I hadn't spent the last day taking pictures and replaying favorite parts, I'd have the game. Spoiler screens be here : <a href='' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'></a>

But, alas...
(30$ should be nothing right? ... But then you factor in the DLC content that you need. And suddenly it's 70$. I was willing to hit 50$ in my frenzy, but at 70$... It's just not that important enough at this time.)

So when I was writing to you, I was at a temporary loss... I HAD JUST MISSED MY CHANCE! (apparently it had been the anniversary of the series or something...) But, seeing your response, helped me snap out of it. A game can wait~

Why was I so enticingly vague when writing that previous message? I guess I wanted to make it sound better than it actually was... '^' (yes, I made that face then wrote it down lol)

[more was written after this point, but a large spider just jumped on my foot... I caught it, and set it free outside <img src='<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':p' />]
