  • The worst thing you can do here is outright ignoring the people who are being helpful.

    "Scathingly"
    "Without reason"
I used sarcasm because you were getting on my nerves with your refusal to listen to reason. Even still, I only used it without referring to the theory because I knew my credibility in your eyes would go down if I did. Alas, your immature reaction prevented that. On top of that, it is relevant.
"Helpfulness is all good, but when you present it full of scathing sarcasm with the intent to beat someone down, it loses this quality." The parts of the post where I was being helpful didn't have sarcasm. The parts that aren't related to your theory weren't me being helpful. Ergo, it doesn't (or rather, shouldn't) affect the other parts.

In response to your question in that first paragraph, the answer is simply because the Doctor said so. The Red Crystal kept him alive, this is canon. There is no room for discussion there, and if you're going to argue with canon for the sake of your theory then you should know that your theory is simply not correct. If you make any more arguments to this fact it will simply mean you're stupid.

In any case, whether or not it's how he escaped the massacre isn't really relevant in hindsight, because either way you have no explanation for something your theory hinges on. Give us one piece of evidence in favour of your theory that the Doctor is the unnamed king and I will stop badgering you. Unless you do either that or accept the fact that your theory cannot be taken seriously by any intelligent member of the forums I won't stop this stupid argument.

This "refusal to listen" was me disagreeing with a single post you had made, if you remember correctly. Apparently, differing viewpoints means that the party that disagrees with you must be the lobotomized group, what with the amount you attack my disagreement.

I'm somewhat curious. What makes you think that just because some parts of what you say could be considered helpful, you can be as needlessly sarcastic as you want without affecting the overall tone of the reply? You gave advice and then turned around and called the one you were giving this advice to an idiot. The fact that you think you can do this and not have it affect your original point is naive.

In response to your second paragraph, I guess I must reiterate a point I already made. Why, pray tell, would he TELL them what the crown does? I personally am, even disregarding my theory, far more apt to believe an object who's powers are unknown would be able to keep someone alive far better than a crystal made of what is, in effect, concentrated insanity. Calling me stupid for disagreeing with you is idiotic in the extreme, and frankly is a sign of immaturity. I think you are wrong, you think I am wrong. Have I called you stupid or mocked your intelligence once? The answer would be no.

In saying that my theory cannot be taken seriously by any intelligent member is yet another barb at my intelligence, as well as some people who haven't loathed it as much as you seem to. I'm actually tempted to go count the number of times I have been called an idiot by you, specifically stated or implied. In this post, I have not called you an idiot, simply called some things you have done idiotic. I cannot, as you very well know, come up with solid evidence for my theory. Asking for it is asinine. Instead of focusing on the points it is impossible to prove OR disprove, I recommend you focus on the parts that aren't completely unknown.

On a side note, you still have not addressed a certain part of what I said. Let me quote it yet again: "Even still, assuming it IS the crystal. My theory still holds. If killing him didn't work once, why would it work the second time?" You seem to be avoiding answering this. I've admitted that yes, it is mostly guesswork. You have given no ground on your argument, avoiding questions that might possibly force you to do so by simply ignoring them. I might add that, looking at the comment that started this argument, your doing this is hypocritical.

And I must say, your first good point made was that this argument was indeed stupid.
