I got it, for the most part. For some reason it keeps repeating the dialogue though. Edit: Never mind, got it!

I need some help with cutscenes. How do I create a scene that triggers when you walk into an event/entity? And then never triggers again after happening once? (Like the when you first see Curly at the Sand Zone)

You know, I'm not usually the guy with negative opinions, so I think I'll leave my opinion at this: Sue's is a decent program for really basic modding and beginners, but if you want a full fledged mod go for something like Cave Editor.

I kind of have a feeling this came up because of my recent troubles in that other thread. Anyways though, I agree. Sue's may look the most user friendly, but it's kind of limited at times and may cause some trouble. I know I've had some times it's pissed me off prior to what I've started making...

Okay, I see. Well... I don't know I'd say I'm good at modding, but I wanna do more than what Sue's can do. I've been modding for a while but I quit for a long period of time and picked it back up again recently. I'm sure I can adjust to Cave Editor. Thanks for the info.

I still don't really get what to do here. Okay I've been using Cave Editor. After I get my custom stuff in, turn off the @Pixel thing, and set it to read bmp files, I'm suddenly unable to open up Cave Story in Sue's Workshop or Cave Editor, or even PLAY Cave Story. It says it's "not a valid...

How do I do that?

I'm having trouble editing characters. I tried editing the "MyChar" file in data and changed a few things, and then saved it, but whenever I try playing Cave Story it comes up with some BS error.

This made my eyes bleed.
