The auto fire of the spur and cube gun were added to help prevent any wrist injuries associated with mashing the shoot key. It's intuitive to use an autofire system if the player is just going to be mashing the shoot key anyways.
And that's a really simple hack. Just have the Bubbler's bullet set its own X and Y position to Quote's X and Y position every frame.
The HUD icons are smaller now, that's not a bug.
