As of now, it's on hold. I'm too busy with school right now to even think about it. I'm not sure about everyone else though... but I still want to continue with this when I/we can.
Ugh... I really hate to say it, but I don't think we're going to get anything done just yet.
I don't have enough time and from what I've been hearing, some of you don't either. I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
This project is not dead, it's just on hold until we can figure things out.
We can't go with Atravir's script unless we get permission.
1. It isn't right
2. It's semi-illegal
3. He has already "started" this.
Either we wait a little longer for his response, or we start writing another one.
Although I think he'd be more than happy to lend a hand, we can't assume...
I'm hoping that we can speed things up as soon as we get the script dilemma all figured out.
Also, Zombieme, you might have to fight T-Jack for Doctor and Jacob for King.
If not, there are plenty of other parts available.
Would it be possible to have one flash that accesses each part individually?
And while the first one plays the second one loads and as the second plays the third one loads etc?
I like that idea, Fire, but how would we associate Quote into that? Would he still pick up the signal of would we cut that out altogether?
Edit:
Also, how would we do an opening w/o revealing any of the plot?
The opening of the game starts out with the docor so I think we should add that in...
Again, what are we going to do about the script?
Should we just start writing another one, go with the already written one w/o permission and hope he says yes, or delay the animating until we know whether or not we have permission. :/
Yes of course, but like I said, I don't want each episode to stray too far from the last (ie an intro every episode, delaying the actual piece)
edit into to intro
I think that it would be best w/o a recap or foreshadowing. I feel that it would make it too much like a tv series. My origional thought was that you could watch all of them in a sequence and have it be like a movie rather than a series.
Thoughts?
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/forebode
–verb (used with object) 1. to foretell or predict; be an omen of; indicate beforehand; portend: clouds that forebode a storm.
2. to have a strong inner feeling or notion of (a future misfortune, evil, catastrophe, etc.); have a presentiment of.
It would be interesting to have the option of subtitles and then have them inside of the text box (maybe portraits too?)
This is just an idea. I think the text box will take up a lot of the screen so probably scratch that.
