I like that this drawing, which leans on the more sinister end of the Gardevoir spectrum, is pretty open with the design. I think a lot of spooksters make use of fear of the unknown to help unnerve viewers, and while the background here is shrouded in darkness everything else is fairly straightforward...
Little touches of menace work just fine.
