I worry at times about whether brevity should be striven for. Do people expect the pictures I like most to have great big whoppers for descriptions, or extra-crispy sound bites? What do I expect? Does it matter? I'm nearing 500 uploads, it's not a bad time to think on it.
I wanted to talk about this in Another day, another injustice, but that kind of goes against the impression I wanted to leave: that it's a higher level of drawing to me, for reasons not all explicable. Whether that impression should be striven for goes back to the ancient question of "do people visit this gallery, and what for if so". Back before the forum move when views eventually came out to hundreds rather than dozens I didn't worry about this, because I'm vain and awful...but also curious. My slippy schedule nowadays is a contributor, I know - I apologize - but I'm also pretty sure that non-member views used to count and no longer do, so all those silent voices no longer even leave a mark.
Are you folk out there? What on earth am I doing, and is it right? Are these commentaries annoyances or the only reason for visiting? Has the quality of uploads on the whole improved over the years? I like feedback, and I don't mind talking...so is it my self-centered inaction that fosters silence or am I simply one foot in the past? I'm talking to/for myself, but no matter - everyone needs to shout it out a little at some point, even if it's writing on a wall~
As for the actual picture, it's a serious cutie! Because the levels/age of multi-stage Pokémon can be obfuscated, serious size differences like these can be awkward in certain situations. Here it's simply a sweet reminder of the growing that one can do, and the pure enthusiasm that encourages it. ^.^
