This is my ninth avatar thus far, being donned for a brief period in celebration of a new year and in desire of cleansing after the trials of the old one, then coming to represent hope for new beginnings no matter the time.
It comes from an extremely beautiful picture, unashamedly one of my favorites, and I looked forward to every new December 31st that brought another opportunity to use it - but never did. For a time, at least, a stretch of a few years, I suppose I didn't feel that I needed it. My slow separation from the forums and linked struggles through college, tenderness, and all of the other new areas of life led me back to these hopes once I stepped back into this old home. Despite its slightly somber tone, Prayer represents nothing if not warmth, happiness, and hope.
2015 was a good year for me. I expect to make many others for myself. :>
