When I was younger, I loved using Psychic because it has one of the coolest animations/sound effects in Gold. I've always loved impressive/satisfying techniques (hell, I'll use Hyper Beam if it sells itself as well as it does in Red and Gold), and I wonder if the Fairy attacks in X and onwards will have that kind of impact when I get to those games. I've been told that Game Freak opted to use the Gen 1 sound effects for Hyper Beam and friends, so I have moderate hopes that stuff like Moonblast will hold some oomph. :>
