Alright, so for a while we've had the "The sickeningly cheerful say hello, introduce yourself; now where's my cookie? topic.", but I'm wondering where the cookies came from.
So.
Voila!
A couple of my favorite cookie recipes. :3
Lunch cookies
Cream Together:
· 1 1/2 Cups White Sugar
· 1 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
· 1 3/4 Cups Butter
Add:
· 2 Eggs
· 2 Tablespoons Vanilla
Stir together:
· 2 1/2 Cups Oatmeal
· 3 Cups Flour
· 2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
· 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
· 1 Teaspoon Salt
· 1/2 cup of each of any of the following: Chocolate Chips, Raisins, Coconut, Nuts, Mini M&Ms ect.
Add the two mixtures together (dry into wet a little at a time, you may have to use your hands for this), roll into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with fork. Bake at 325 degrees F for ten minutes (They WON'T look cooked – DO NOT LEAVE THEM IN ANY LONGER OR THEY WILL BURN!). Let cool on pan for a few minutes. Will make about 10-12 dozen cookies
Spiced Ginger Mounds
Preheat oven to 325'F
Lightly grease baking (cookie) sheets
Sift together:
· 8 cups all purpose flour
· 4 teaspoons baking soda
· 4 teaspoons cinnamon
· 4 teaspoons cloves
· 4 teaspoons ginger
· 1 teaspoon salt
Cream together
· 3 cups shortening
· 4 cups granulated (white) sugar
Beat in
· 4 eggs
· 1 cup molasses
Beat until light and fluffy. Stir in dry ingredients. Shape into small balls and roll each in granulated (white) sugar. Place on greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake in preheated 325'F oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 16 dozen cookies.
Ps. I figured cook books are media, so...
