Why does everyone hate Touhou so much?

I want to know about this and to let everyone get it out of their systems once and for all.
Why does everyone hate Touhou? Is it too hard? Too much of a weird storyline? Too much fanservice from fan manga? Anything else?

In my experience hate threads are a bad, bad, bad idea.
I was shaking my head slowly as I typed that, just so you know.

And Noxid, this isn't exactly a hate thread; a hate thread would be "I hate Touhou", not "Why does everyone hate Touhou?".

Hate threads are dumb. And also, we don't hate touhou, we just hate newfaggy fans.

Yeah, I can't really see this being productive in any way. Some people like the game, some people don't, some people don't care. We don't all 'hate' it. In fact, I'm pretty sure a not-insignificant portion of our userbase plays the game.
