Misery gave him the directions to reach there, since she has gone down there to talk to Ballos in the past, meaning she has an idea on how things go in Ballos' chamber. It is possible that Balrog has previously gone to the Sacred Grounds himself, but we have no confirmation nor denial of that being the case.

but like did he just go up to the balcony say "wait whats a this hole in the ground? oh wait maybe its secret area" then he flies over a bunch of spikes and is like why these big rocks falling but im pretty tough walks through them he sees an even bigger hole in the ground hes like "woah thats a big press" and then hes like woah cool sky room thing wait the door doesnt have a ground ahhh OH HEY GUYS time to save you!" and then somehow got there

thatd be an overpowered combo like omega is just there and then all of a sudden a wild balrog just tackles him from out of nowhere and them boom omega is BOOM!!

But the thing about that is we never see what actually blocked the door to the plantation (when you go to hell), so i don't really think it's certain that Balrog just smashed through the door

i always assumed he kind of broke through the roof of whatever building or maybe has some other weird balrog ways to get in

but i thought the other place was pretty deep underground so...

Technically he is just there like there there but in reality, WHAT! and also how did balrog got to where curly and quote are in the seal chamber. like did he had to break the roof as well?.

Considering how Balrog is easily capable of destroying the roof of the seal chamber, that isn't entirely out of the question. Pixel easily could have done some <CNPs to convey him actually destroying where he jumps through, but he is often defeated in a variable position.

im curious, does the big heavy press boss work similar after it crashes down?

also imagine heavy press was a little bit farther the right and it just crushes ballos and his entire chamber after you beat it

Presses are the small ones, the large one you fight in hell is the Heavy Press. It does make for an interesting and dumb mod idea if all presses are really the Heavy Press.

Actually no, Pixel, as I call it, "TSC-ed it" where you do CMPs to time it perfectly as Heavy Press falls down.
