Only Noxid can 2x res a mod.... So he'd have to do it for you.

Anyway, I pretty much guarantee it's not bannable. Worst thing that happens is you piss off Noxid, and people dislike the mod for using the 2x res, both of which I doubt would happen.

Not really. I know how to do the 2x res too (people always seem to forget that I helped him with that project, and that I have a working version of it).

 

I usually don't have too much of a problem with people using the 2xres. I mean, 90% of why I made it in the first place was for other people's mods. I just ask that they go through the proper channels first.

I just hope 2x res doesn't get leaked...Man that would suck, basically every mod would have it.

There are a couple of methods by which a good hacker could figure out how it was done. I won't go into much detail about these methods since it doesn't seem like a good idea to leak the hack out to the public at this time. But it wouldn't be that hard.

No what I meant is that it's possible to reverse engineer the 2x resolution hack.

[Edit]: It'd be more likely for someone to reverse engineer the hack than to make it from scratch. I mostly say this since it was very hard to make.
