From this screenshot it looks like the first release of Cave Story was (unsurprisingly) version 1.0.0.0:

- Does anyone have copies of the earlier versions? I've only been able to find 1.0.0.5.
- It mentions here that 1.0.0.3 had a bug with the Statue Room: http://wray.umu.cc/doukutsu/hell/runninghell.html

Finally, if anyone has Doukutsu1007exe.zip, I think a link for that should be added to the Downloads.

The links have been fixed. However the files weren't removed from the site, but instead they were just moved to a slightly different url on the same site.

Umm.. The small window version of KadoAI is bundled with the normal KadoAI download. This isn't exactly a new thing.

That was the final release for a long time, so don't expect any notable differences.

The translation patcher was made for 1.0.0.5 and 1.0.0.6, I doubt any English-speaking player of the game would have 1.0.0.4 and under. However check with AGTP, maybe they might have a copy of 1.0.0.4 lying around.

Finally, if anyone has Doukutsu1007exe.zip, I think a link for that should be added to the Downloads.

A port of Cave Story for AmigaOS 4 was previously available on the internet. (filename: "cavestory.lha")
