Lol, Metalogz. I has Mimiga Village done. I also renamed it to "Second Room". =D

I have this awesome idea - there'll be a few boss fights at the end of the four teleport areas, and the fifth will be unlocked after the other four are done. Right now I have to turn Arthur's house into part of the Outer Wall.

Anyone still have this? I had to reformat my computer, and lost my mod in the process. The links in the first post are dead, too.

Also, for content, I completed the five minute edit I said I'd do long ago - make a hatless Quote sheet, including Curly's Underwear. And I did the ItemImage.pbm switcheroo as well.

I played the mod, it was pretty good so far.

A couple of things I noted:
-will it be possible without any weapons? because it is possible right now to choose no weapons
-infinite super missiles: I'm not sure whether to be happy about this or no, I'll wait till I see a boss
-the first cave creatures are a poor choice for that map, because you CAN have 55 hp and the spikes do 10 damage, so hitting one of them is like granting temporary invincibility

I liked the level tho, could maybe be designed better still.

 

Just because you can have 55 HP doesn't mean you have to. Although, it's impossible without getting hurt right now... I'll fix that.

I'm thinking of making the first weapon, the one that you get right when you start the game that has no icon and such, into a punch. Short range, low damage. Maybe 3?

...Wouldn't you like to fight Ballos like that.

I'm making a shortened version as well as the regular version, in the same game. The shortened version'll only need Booster 0.8, but you'll get a choice between the two.

You CAN get through without getting hurt (I've made sure every jump was do-able myself, and if you space your boosts right you can do it.), but it is quite hard.

Also, seeing as your making the first weapon, do you plan to code it into the game yourself? Because it really is just a blank weapon slot, no weapon code in it. If you can assembly hack it though, go ahead. And if you do make sure it has unlimited shots allowed on screen, for ease.
