He-Hello! How are you, good people? 'Cause I'm pretty Angry
I've made my first map in Sue's Workshop 0.3A (0.3C won't load the tileset for some reason O.o) but when I try to enter in this map, the game crashes. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, Doukutsu.exe keep crashing.

What should I do? T_T

Thank you for reading :D

1) Don't use Sue's Workshop.
2) Make sure you don't have read-only set on any of your files
3) make sure the game isn't in a write-protected folder like C:/Program Files

Then what program should I have to use? Cave Editor It's way too hard, at least to begin. Booster Lab looks incredible, but I can't save my map or anything. It says "Do we have permission write?" But I have UAC deactivated and all D:

What's so hard about Cave Editor? There's plenty of guides for the software - many more than for Sue's. You can ask around if you can't figure out something.

Well, correcting myself: I have tested Cave Editor a bit more, and at least I can run a map without the game crashing. Still, the interface is pretty annoying, but I can get used (I think) to it. Thanks for the replys, I will search for some guides. Thanks :D

UAC isn't the problem by the sounds.

Right-click your cave story folder, click on properties, uncheck read-only, hit OK, choose "Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files", hit OK again. You can't edit files that are set to read only.

Cave Editor was always easy for me... well. I'm having a problem with the script not allowing a map to show, it's new and uses a self made template.
(But that's for another day)
