So the other night I got thinking "Hey, it would be fun to teach Will how to play Trivial Pursuit", but I haven't got any questions and I haven't got the stamina to make up the sheer volume that would be required to have a good game. So, I was wondering if someone could try out their google-fu skills to see if there's a text repository of all the trivial pursuit questions and answers out there to be had. A PDF might be doable, but if it's properly formatted obviously it'll be easier for me to get it set up.

Option two is that if no such list exists then maybe we could invent our own trivia questions together but with only like a dozen of us there'd be a pretty good chance you'd get your own questions so I'd like to avoid that if possible.

Whelp, some brief googling produced some sites which aren't really "Trivial Pursuit," but are nevertheless trivial trivia.

http://www.velvetillusion.com/velvetillusion_pages/trivia/trivial_pursuit_questions.pdf

http://www.teachers-corner.co.uk/wp-content/medialibrary//trivial-pursuit.pdf

http://www.answerology.com/index.aspx/question/2793243_Useless-facts---trivial-pursuit-junkies-enjoy.html

http://www.quibblo.com/quiz/bza-_y-/Random-Trivial-Pursuit

http://www.pursuingtrivia.com/websites/trivia/

So it's not quite what you were asking for, but it could be a step toward making-your-own-Trivial-Pursuit-like-game-since-the-original-is-Copyrighted-by-Hasbro-and-all-that-nonsense type game.

Also, who is Will?

I think Will is Noxid's IRC butler or something.

Actually he is a cat and his official job is more that of a scribe or librarian
but he does enjoy fun facts

Ah, it's been a while since I've been on IRC with y'all. Silly school and whatnot being busy. I do think I remember seeing a Will in the room, though. It's all coming together now.

Speaking of fun facts—where did potatoes originate? The answer is not Ireland.

A related question—where did tomatoes originate? The answer is not Italy.

I believe mesoamerica (or maybe south america?) is the answer to both. They crossed over during the Colombian exchange.

Gold star for Lace! Potatoes are usually said to have originated in the Andean regions of present-day Peru, Bolivia, and northern Chile. Tomatoes came from Central America, but I don't remember more specifically where.

It seems that almost everything comes from South America
