1) Maybe not my favourite gun, but one of the most unique guns I've seen in a video game is the Mind Eraser in Alien Arena. It has both a seeker mode and one shooting out a robotic spider that'll rank up points for you.

Couldn't add anything from TF2. Most weapons are based on opinion.

 

Why has nobody mentioned these:

Turok 2: The Nuke. Charges up, unleases massive light. THEN ALL THE DINOSAURS ARE CRISPY. THEN THEY EXPLODE!

Turok 3: Portable Singularity Generator. Fires a BLACK HOLE which warps the level geometry towards it, and will suck you in if you don't run behind something. Kills everything.

Perfect Dark: Laptop Gun. A laptop, submachine gun, and automated turret all in one. Plus the Farsight, which lets you shoot through walls with X-ray vision. Oh, and the Psychosis Gun, which makes enemies fight with you.
