• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

Apparently it was being developed by VARIANT, though it was canceled due to Pixel not giving them permission.
They did not care what he said so he sued them.

Variant were liers and they developed the port without permission. Pixel only originally gave permission for a homebrew port, not a commercial release. Variant weren't sued, they just disappeared one day after they were found out for the liers they were. Pixel is a homebrew developer, he wouldn't have the funds to sue someone.

Ufo_z decided to make a PSP homebrew port when the truth finally got out about Variant.

F**k Variant, they are a blemish on Cave Story itself.

Oh, and:
1. It was not related to the port.
2. It could have been real. It could have been fake just so that variant could get hits on their site. Who knows?
