I LIKE facilities :o

THIS MAKES YOU LIKE THE 3RD JACOB HERE JUST SO YOU KNOW

-The <GIT for the Polar Star is wrong, and the music isn't restored after getting it. The chest also doesn't appear as 'opened' unless you enter the nearby door and leave; you probably set the invisible flag right but then didn't delete the entity.
-The spiky terrain mixes up the first boss battle nicely, and I don't think he has too much health.
-The save point in the next area doesn't work :(

Oh hey that's it already.
*Restarts to read the journal entries*
OH NO IT'S MEWTWO RU-
Fix up those few bugs and the mod so far will be fine, if a bit short.

and this might be what you wanted, but the door that works warps to the wrong tile in the house.
and the door after the boss doesn't have an animation.

but that was fun.

The music behaves oddly after you pickup the polar star, it just stops.

It was fun though.

Wut?
...
His name is Jaccamo! :D

-I don't like the recolors.
-Balrogs dialogue sounds like his reason is obsolete not the player
-you spelled obsolete "obselete"
-You really should fix all those bugs DB listed
-I told you not to release it yet D: it's way too short and adding an unfinished map didn't really help its length
-I did like balrogs recolor though and a little bit of Quotes

I pointed out bugs? O.o
Think ya mean DT.

NegPoints I noticed:

- The <WAI's in the journal kinda makes it irritating to read...
- Text box color and the text color kinda clash to my eyes, making stuff hard to read.

PosPoints I noticed:

- You've got a good handle on TSC, as evidenced by your boss fight script.
- Tricky map design. Must say I approve.
- Creative spike layout makes this map Rambo-unfriendly.
- Yay for excessive weapon energy capsules! ^_^
- Quick and to-the-point Life Capsule-thing. IMO, how much more do you need to know?
- In the earlier version you sent me, the criss-crossy support things in the boss fight area blocked him from running around, making it possible to just sit there and spam the Polar Star. Glad to see that fixed.
- "Pop Tarts? In my secret chamber?"

Possible fixes to earlier mentioned things:

- That ID card as the PS is a simple fix - <GIT0002 if memory serves. Adding 1000 is only for items, not weapons.

Overall it looks pretty nice. Probably the first mod I've seen to use the Maze tileset so effectively.

Actually, the boss script wasn't mine. WhosTony helped me with that. And also, what do you mean by pop tarts?

Nothing. ^^;
Just random filler bullet to make it look like I played the mod rather than just read the TSC scripts to be funny.

Good game already, if not a bit short for a first demo.
-Unlike some people here, I liked the recoloring.
-At first I assumed that the malfunctioning robot was the main character but later I realized that it is the recolored Balrog. Maybe you should add some face pics or something to let us know who is talking.
-Fix or remove the second save point, I am leaning towards remove though, they seem a bit too close.
-I didn't notice the music stopping after you pick up the Polar Star but you should fix it anyway. Also, you should make sure that the Polar Star looks like the Polar Star and not an ID Card when you pick it up.
-And lastly, you should make sure that entering the buildings puts you on the correct tile.

It was otherwise alright in my eyes.
I liked the spikes in the boss fight, I got thrown into them a couple times when the malfunctioning robot grabbed me. It gave the battle a nice little twist.

Keep up the good work, can't wait for the next release.

I'm holding out to play this until a longer demo comes out.

But I WILL play it. Eventually.
