• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

*Spoiler Alert*

What does the password, "Litagano Motscoud" mean? Is it Japanese? Is it scrambled words??

Just wondering, thought it might be of some significance...

The translator messed up, it's supposed to be Doukutsu Monogatari backwards.

Yep - in kana, doukutsu monogatari is written
Do-u-ku-tsu Mo-no-ga-ta-ri
which, backwards, is
ri-ta-ga-no-mo tsu-ku-u-do

When it was being translated, he didn't realise it was backwards, so just romanised it as 'litagano motscoud' ^_^

Thanks for the response, that's totally awesome!

So it should really be "ritaganomo tsukuudo" then?

I kind of like it the wrong way though. It sounds like some ancient viking phrase or something. ;)

You mean the L is pronounced "hard"? Coz in my mother tongue a hard pronounced L is written as eithr L or R in English.

No, there is no 'L' in japan. 'L' is 'R' and also 'C' is 'K'. People got confused with chinese tough, because in china there is no 'R' but 'L', so most people think that japanese people don't speak 'R'.

ritaganomo tsukuod

It's Doukutsu, so it's alright. It's often written with a macron, but still, the O is stretched.
Your version would be ritaganomo tsukudō then.

Do-u-ku-tsu Mo-no-ga-ta-ri

どうくつものがたり

The game originally had it in kana, thus it's Ritaganomo Tsukuudo
