Just so you know nox, tgstation has had some pretty big changes since you last played. It's pretty damn sweet; make sure to use the latest version of the master branch for it.
Also, it would be awesome if, after you guys play, you were to decide to start contributing to the code project. I'm a maintainer for it (guy in charge of accepting/denying new code + other responsibilities) and would be happy to see any of you giving it a shot.
Also here is your most important resource. Hold it dear like you hold your life, for in this game it very well may be. https://tgstation13.org/wiki
Disclaimer: you may hold your life dear, but in reality you life is irrelevant. No one will care if you get fed to space carp or transformed into a monkey and then crowbarred to death. Did you get your records scanned? I hope you did.
No joke though, it's definitely worse spending some time looking through the wiki, just to get a basic feel of the game. We're always glad to help, but the more of the basics you can pick up on your own, the easier it is to find what you enjoy doing and get -really- good at it.
ok so what i'm thinkin is I'll run a game tonight, decide what happens depending on how many people show up. Then again on the 9th in case anybody wants to play again or couldn't make it the first time.
I don't have any solid time planned but 7 still sounds good to me, i'll start getting set up around 6 probably. It's 3:07 where I am currently.
I'm thinking we should use Discord for voice chat since it's easy to set up and anyone can join? Voice isn't mandatory since the game has a built-in chat system but it makes it easier to explain things for people who are new.
Nuts. I'm only going to be able to join tomorrow, if all goes well. I probably should have joined on the fourth since homework turned out to be a lot lighter than expected, but it's not a big deal. I'll have to study up on Spess, though!
