Sound problem on Mac

Hey everyone! Recently, I downloaded Cave Story for my old PowerBook and I had a weird sound problem.I searched and saw that many people had the same problem but on PC and I'm on Mac so I don't know what to do. I tried many things but nothing works.Can you help me?
P.S:I'm sorry my English is very bad because I'm french ^^
