Skydiving.

We discussed this on irc some time ago, so I thought I'd share this with the rest of the general population. The idea of jumping out of a plane seems marvelous enough, and it's even better with a parachute. I'm going to try it during Spring/Summer. It must be an amazing experience, plus it doesn't have many restrictions and one jump costs less than 80 dollars.

 

Skydiving is something that I've always dreamed of trying. I don't know if I'll ever get the chance, but I think that I have to find some way, someday. I have a mild fear of heights and I think the thrill of plummeting to the earth from thousands of feet would be incredible.

 

I pretty much agree with Noxid.
I get a little nervous around big heights, so I bet the best way to get rid of it is to jump out if an airplane and fall.

 

I've never had a fear of hights, that's just retarded. I do have a fear of extreme pain and possible death though.

I don't know whether my judgement of danger got better, or if I've become more of a wuss but now it seems like I'm not as daring as, say, 5 years ago.

 

My mom did it once.

She said the feeling is unimaginable.

 

Guess I'll have to trust ultima's mom on this one.

 

[bump] Like the popular IceChat quit message says: "If you used to fail at the first time skydiving is not for you". That message maybe saved a life so far, mine certainly.
