Script Editing

I am working on a mod and was wondering: How do I keep track of all the different scripts? which ones shouldn't I overwrite?

they are organized by number already. overwrite them all!

The only maps/scripts you need to keep are Null, u (Kings), the universal game scripts (Head/ArmsItem/StageSelect/Credit) and preferably at least one starting map, all of which can still be edited to suit your needs. Several of the "large' bosses (Omega, Core, etc) are also bound to the map they're in but I think that can be changed fairly easily now? Aside from that, you only need to keep vanilla maps you may want to have in your mod. The rest can be overwritten, or deleted and replaced with blank ones.
