Cave Editor, hm? I know it's a lot of stuff, but maybe something from here will help you?

 

Cave Editor can't do much for graphics editing, so use gimp. You can magnified it, and also use pallet colors via a window thing. will post screenshots on how if you can't google that.

 

Please don't use GIMP!
There are BETTER graphic editing software that works BETTER for mod editing!
For example,
paint.NET
MSPaint
Graphics Gale
Aseprite
basically any software mainly for spriting
so please don't use GIMP

overall, it was good -- amusing at some points -- but there's a lot to work on.

EDIT: See the point is we shouldn't HAVE to use the config file. You as the modder MUST know how annoying it is to open a new mod in fullscreen. Setting it in windowed automatically would give people more motivation/reason to play it. Thanks for doing it, but don't act like it's not a big deal.

 

ok, that flash effect every time you use the fade tsc comand is very strenuous on the eyes.

It really isn't a big deal. Some people prefer full screen and it's an absolutely trivial task to change it to windowed.
