Question about the Plantation (No spoilers please)

I'm just wondering if all of the random things it seems like I can do in the plantation area (find missing Mimiga, the "passage?" room, evil killer flying blocks at the top, the password door...etc) are possible without any prerequisites. I've been exploring this place for a while and I don't want to go on until I know for sure there's nothing more for me to do here.

I don't want to know HOW to do any of these things I just want to know if they can be done so that I don't waste my time trying to figure it out before I take the portal and get jailed.

Passage? and that wall of death traps comes after you've been jailed, so don't worry about it.

At this point I'd say you're safe to get thrown in jail.

Don't click if you don't want a spoiler.
In fact, odds are you won't have to worry about Passage? for a LONG time. Passage? is a part of Hell. When you do a hell run, you'll see it then.
