I was wondering how you put the PSP port of Cave Story onto the PSP. At the moment, I have no idea where to put the files. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you have custom firmware installed?

If not then look under system information and tell me what firmware version you have. The lower the better.

Also what model psp do you have? PSP Phat (PSP-1000)? PSP Slim (PSP-2000)? PSP Brite (PSP-3000)?

Ouch.

There is no exploit for the PSP-3000 model as of yet. You will have to wait a while before you can play Cave Story on your PSP. Sorry.

There is a new Homebrew Enabler for firmware 5.03 (don't upgrade past 5.03 if you want to use it) that will work for the PSP-3000.

The Pandora Battery works across all firmwares, but it doesn't work for the 3000 model PSPs.

A couple of guys in China recently got a hold of 16 PSP 3000s and tinkered around with them heavily right down the individual parts. After going through them (and even destroying all 16 in the process of their research), they found that Sony has designed some kind of security measure BUILT IN the tachyon processor. They can find ways to by-pass the security functionality of the firmware, but like everyone else who has taken the time to look into this, they can't do anything about this new jump in secuity. Sony has the top dog PSP modders and hackers totally stumped right now. :(

Dang it... I wish my PSP worked. Recent set it down on my desk and when I picked it back up, the LCD was cracked in half. Now I gotta pony up like, $70 just to get a new one... At least I know how to repair these things.

I'd call the new HEN a success actually. TIFF exploit: 1, Chinese hackers: 0 :(

Sorry but I am prejudiced against Chinese hackers considering that it was Chinese hackers that butchered Telefang.

Woah, I actually have a copy of that game. o_o First time I turned it on, I was a little suspicious, thinking to myself "hmm... This seems strangely familiar. Almost like Telefang". Sure enough within the hour, I was certain it was.

...

The concept always had me going "WTF? Monsters with cell phones?"
