I am making a Cave Story mod named Pony Story where Quote finds his way into Equestria, that's all I'll specify right now because the rest would be spoilers. I do have the whole plot figured out though. I'll probably put some small things here once in a while.

Progress: Starting area finished, working on cave after it

This could either be really, really horrible or it could actually be somewhat good.
As much as I don't like to say it I'm expecting the lformer.

Why would I need to do that? His sprite isn't changing.

I don't have any screenshots ready.

So are you ponyfying CS characters, or just adding a bunch of the actual ponies to the game?

All characters will stay in their original forms. I'm going to have to make new sprites for the ponies though. I might have to do ASM to change NPC dimensions which I have no idea how to do right now and I doubt I'd be able to learn very well. Or just have them all standing up straight :awesomeface:

Or you can draw them into the map and have the NPC entity just be their blinking eyes to save time.

If you'd rather not, though, changing frame rects isn't to difficult, just basic assembly.

I'm hoping that's just the "sketch" of the map, as in you'll add in a lot more nuances in the terrain and some random rocks here and there.
