• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

The plantation, at the very top there's rows upon rows of those squisher things.
What happens if you booster up there? You know, BEFORE taking the rocket/elevator?
I can't seem to do it, but i'm not very good at it anyways.
Some one help me out?

@ Gorb.. You`ll get squashed by the presses if you use the booster, I tried it. So play nice and use the rocket to go to Last Cave. Btw. welcome to the forums

The next cave is different if you make it up there without using a rocket. This is possible without hacking by riding a dragonfly up and sacrificing some health.
But in order to finish, you still must finish the plantation quest.

Until you're supposed to get there, that door is locked, but you can make it up through an exploit.

He just said it, you have to lure a dragonfly near the Presses, get hit by the dragonfly, and use the temporary invincibility you've just gained to get past them all.
You might need to repeat it halfway up, even.

I'm just sorta guessing, here

That most likely means taking more hits before you ever reach the top, so you keep your invincibility and don't die.
So you really are 'riding' it all the way to the top.

Re: I'm just sorta guessing, here

With the booster 2.0, if you're in the center of the crushing blocks, you can get up faster then they can crush. You need to get hurt, go up as far as your booster will allow, get crushed while still invincible, thus resting on the already closed blocks below you, then boost to the top.

If you use hex code editing to remove the distance limiter on the booster (v0.8 or v2.0), you can boost all the way to the top easily, but trying to use the door results in a message like "You're not ready to go here yet" or some such rot, so really the whole venture is 100% useless.

Same thing goes for trying to get to the hermit gunsmith before you're "supposed" to.
